Yoga and Creative Movement

Traditional Yoga

The Traditional Yoga classes are yoga classes geared towards a full mindfulness mindset, often utilizing Mantras (chanting in Sanskrit), Mudras (hand positions), Pranayama (specific breathing techniques), Asana (body positions), all bridged with the ideal of intentional healing where other modalities (Tibetan sound healing techniques) are used sparingly too. In this class, you will find fluidity through body movements, ease entering your joints and muscles, clarity through the mind - and its processes, and a steadiness through your breath.

Schedule: Saturdays, 8–9 a.m.
Fee: $15 per session
Instructor: Gyan Anand

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga classes are geared towards the lesser mobile, where props and a chair are used to accommodate and bring relief to body ailments. The flow of the class will follow that of the Traditional or Vinyasa flow classes but will be more focused on alignment and healing the physical body through gentle posture flows.

Schedule: Fridays, 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
Fee: $15 per session
Instructor: Gyan Anand

Pranayama Yoga

Pranayama Yoga classes are breathing classes, where through sitting comfortably, we bring awareness only to the breath, and through different techniques we can bring heat or coolness into the body, bring about a higher mental clarity, and a heightened overall sense of health through both the mind and the body.

Schedule: Mondays, 8:15–9:15 a.m.
Fee: $15 per session
Instructor: Gyan Anand

Therapeutic Yoga is a 1-on-1 private yoga session where the instructor will listen to the client’s issues/symptoms, assess, and teach various yoga sequences, mantras, mudras, and breathing techniques to help aid in the overall health (mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional) of the client.
